Most of us working within the construction materials industry are quite familiar with the concept
that change is an ongoing part of life, however, the challenge presented by the sustainable
construction agenda is unparalleled and nowhere will it have a greater impact than in the capital
city itself. With this in mind I am delighted that we have been able to assemble a most varied and
stimulating programme for our conference, which I am sure will provide both interest and value to
delegates in equal measure. Needless to say I will be particularly proud to welcome our special
guest speaker Lord Sebastian Coe and my sincere thanks go to our event sponsors Continental
